I’m considering the best places to kick off the 2025 paragliding season, not only in the Alps but also further south in Italy, down to areas near Rome. I only have experience with sites around Bassano, so I’m looking for suggestions for locations that could be suitable in early March. Places like Norma are said to offer stable conditions and a pleasant climate. Do you have experience with these areas? Where and when would you recommend starting to make the most of the thermals and avoid colder alpine weather?
