Do you meticulously check your gear step by step over and over? Or do you simply enjoy the view? Maybe a quick snack or some other activity?
Thanks for the tips!
What are your favorite pre-flight rituals?
When flying, I chew gum. It might seem silly, but it helps me stay focused.

For me, pre-flight rituals are all about double (and triple!) checking my skydiving equipment. There's something really calming about going through my gear step by step – making sure everything is in place and ready to go. It’s not just about safety but also getting into the right mindset. Once that's done, I like to grab a quick snack and just soak in the energy around me. I totally get why some people just enjoy the view or chat, but for me, the gear check is my grounding moment. By the way, I recently found some cool stuff on skydiveshop.com that’s been a game-changer for my setup. What about you – do you have a ritual that helps you focus before the flight?

Hi. Are you talking about parachuting or paragliding? See your link.
Paragliders sometimes wait a long time on the hill. I prefer it when they fly earlier.
Food helps me - it calms me down, luckily it's not so noticeable on the scale.
