I’m planning to take my first SIV course 😧 in the Alps and I’m looking for advice on how to get started. I’m a bit nervous because I’ve seen a few videos. Do you have experience with organizations offering quality courses, preferably in Italian or English? 😜
I’m particularly interested in:
Experience with instructors – How did they approach beginners, and what level of support did they provide?
Course organization – Was everything well-organized, from safety equipment to briefings?
Affordability – Is it worth paying extra for a renowned school, or can a good course be found at a reasonable price?
I’d also like to know how to prepare for an SIV course – both physically and mentally.
